Microsoft Hard at it again...

Download Internet Explorer 10 Release Preview

You can download Internet Explorer 10 in the language that matches your version of Windows or choose the English version, which works with all versions of Windows 7. For additional info, see the Internet Explorer 10 FAQ .
If you need help finding out which version of Windows you're running, see Is my PC running the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows?
DOWNLOAD IE 10      <---------- (Get it while it is free)

WOW Windows 8 had Windows Internet Explorer 10 incorporated into when they gave the Free release of the software and I found that    IE 10 was very useful. The trail release of Windows 8 is no longer available to Windows 7 users. You now have to purchase the upgrade or buy the full version.

Not For...

Updated on Windows 8
It is not for me!
If I owned a system that had a touch screen this would be much improved software over Windows 7.
The issues I dealt with working with this software are as follows.

1 No touch screen makes this softwa
re cumbersome to use with the mouse.
2 Start menus need some work during the trail twice I lost major apps and had to recover the system with the restore function. Finally I just re-installed Windows 7 Professional.
3 The media player has a lot not to be desired very little functionality on the music side.
Now the positives
1 Windows security software bare nun.
2 System updates, cleaning and defragging are all automated keeping the system up and running extremely smoothly.
Review on Windows 8 overall a thumbs up.

Fix Your Laptop: 34 Tips...

While notebook makers continue to churn out new models every month, consumers are holding on to their aging notebooks for longer than ever. People keep their laptops for an average of four years and four months; a month longer than they did a year ago, according to a recent report in The New York Times.

The problem is that laptops don’t age gracefully. At all. After a while, your machine can slow to a crawl, run out of power faster than you can say “where’s my charger?” and collect crumbs like a sofa. To help reverse the aging process, we rounded up PC owners’ most common complaints, along with advice for making your notebook perform like it’s fresh from the box—or better.

How to Fix Your Laptop

Windows 8 vs OS X Mountain Lion

The Mac versus PC war has entered a new phase, with Apple and Microsoft readying new operating systems for launch. With Windows 8, Microsoft is ambitiously targeting laptops, desktops and tablets with a single platform (albeit with different versions). Meanwhile, Apple is sticking to laptops and desktops with OS X Mountain Lion, leaving iOS to lead the post-PC charge.
While Windows 8 represents an extreme makeover, Mountain Lion keeps the core OS X environment mostly consistent while borrowing some of the best features of iOS. As of press time, neither Windows 8 (available as a Release Preview) nor Mountain Lion (tested in developer preview) were finished products. But the operating systems are far enough along that we can compare them to see which platform is shaping up to provide the better everyday computing experience.

GREAT NEWS

My web site has new DEALS for all my friends to view go there check it out! I have been looking for ways to give folks a way to purchase computers, computer parts; along with all the accessories they need to build complete systems. Now you can also purchase your favorite products like Dell, HP, and Toshiba desktops as well as laptops and lots more!
In doing this it is stretching me as well to be creative in ways to help meet and service the needs of customers. General maintenance for your systems is a much underrated process and often neglected till there is some kind of failure and it has to then be taken to a repair shop. My goal is to offer a simple and easy way to keep your Home or Business computer system well maintained for years to come until you are ready to give it to your children or a friend even sell it to upgrade to  a newer system for your personal use. Being an IT Technician I am always stretching myself using my own PC to learn how to fix and repair it after breaking it and sharing hardware, networking and software issues that arise on most systems.
As time permits I will do more post and keep everyone up to speed thanks for following and hope to keep everything new and engaging.

Remote PC Repair

Computer experts say that remote computer repair is often the easiest way to get your computer fixed or upgraded. Just think of all the benefits in remote PC repair: no crawling around disconnecting cables, no lugging the computer to the car, no driving to the repair facility, no waiting what seems like forever for your computer to be fixed and returned to you. Often the cost is similar, or less, than the old-fashioned way of dragging it to a repair shop. Were you aware that over 95% of all computer problems are software-related issues? This means that technicians can “virtually” fix your machine through advanced technology without physically touching it, in most every instance. Your computer setup stays intact, and you are “back in business” quicker than ever before. It really is as simple as submitting a repair ticket or making a phone call, getting connected remotely with an experienced technician, having them diagnose problems, and then watching as your computer is repaired before your eyes!Once you are remotely connected, the technician can run a full battery of diagnostic tests on your PC to find out what is causing you problems. They can repair sluggish computers, remove viruses, and upgrade software all by the click of a mouse. If you’ve never had a computer repaired remotely, you will be fascinated! You are able to watch as the technician works and observe how the repairs and upgrades are done. During the session you will observe all the repairs being made by the technician while he is actually doing it on your screen, and you will actually see the technician’s mouse moving around on your computer screen. Remote repair sessions can last anywhere from just a few minutes, up to several hours depending on what the problem Is and how complex the resulting repairs are. If you pay strict attention, you might even learn some new computer tricks.

NEW LOOK

Well I have opted for a new look! As you can see.
The propose behind my blog is to get you thinking about your computer system and the issue that will follow with time. Most of us do not even give a second thought after spending hundreds of dollars on a new PC,Laptop or even a new Ipad. Security should be the first consideration, most new purchases come with a year from Norton and McAfee just to  name a couple.
However there are still simple maintenance issues that you will need to over come to keep your computer working optimally and this is were I come in and save you hundreds dollars of unnecessary head aches.
To unplug all the connection and take you computer to the repair store is becoming a thing off the past.
Today most us would find that to be just one big head ache. At this point in time there are maybe 20% to 30% of those who have discovered that remote connections are becoming the way to go before there is catastrophic system failure.
I would like you to stop in and visit my website and take a look around there is some very useful information and how you can do some things on your own to stay maintained. I need for those of you who seek IT support to understand that the issues you will face are preventable before you systems go's from slow to stop.I have chosen the method for payment to be hourly and you chose the time that best fits your need my only stipulation is that you pay for the time you choose and if more time is required pay as we go.I have chosen flat rate for my time like your time is valuable to you my time is also valuable to me.Also I want to mention that when preforming repairs since I am using a secure remote connection you do not have to be present only unless there are some questions you may have or as well I to may have.
I would like to share a simple rule of thumb with every one the DELETE key in 99.9% of the time is not your best friend...

I have do have great news for all the Windows 7 users Windows 8 preview is free to download! Best recommendation follow the instruction for downloading it keep all you files when it asks. It is a great product. Its major design is for touch screen applications it would be cool to own one but never the less it seems quit useful.
You can download it here http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/consumer-preview

Network Magic: Simplify Mac and PC networking

Network Magic: Simplify Mac and PC networking:

The Mac and PC networking challenge is legendary. If you have both on a home or work network, it can be an adventure to get these two machines to see each other, share files or printers. Fortunately, Pure Networks has an app for both Mac and PC called Network Magic which hopes to change all that, as it allows you to easily set up file and printer sharing, diagnose slow networks and more. It offers what looks like a simple interface for managing all this, though I should note that printer sharing only works with the list of printers that Apple officially supports and provides drivers for right in Mac OS X (i.e. - if you can plug a printer in and it works without having to install extra software). While the Windows version is a bit more powerful than the Mac component, folks who need to maintain a mixed network and are after the primary features mentioned here will likely be happy with Network Magic, though licenses are sold at a slight disadvantage for Mac users: packages of licenses begin at $29.99 for 3 PCs (5 PCs for $39.99, etc.), but it's $19.99 for each Mac you want to add to the package. Still, Network Magic looks like one of the easiest networking tools I've seen in a while, and perhaps if its popularity among Mac users grows over time, licensing can become more fair for both operating systems.

Understanding Network...

Hello,
I recently set up a wireless signal in my home. The Linksys Wireless G Broadband Router is hooked up to my desktop computer and a cable Internet modem.
My Internet connectivity is fine ... I'm hooked up and everything is great getting online via my wireless laptop.
What I'd like to do now, and I don't know how to accomplish, is to be able to share files back and forth between the desktop and the laptop. My desktop is my main work computer, so I find myself running between them with a thumb drive swapping files back and forth.I know these steps are possible. I just don't know how to do it. Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated.
