hardware in the computers so you lost the full capabilities of Windows 10.
Microsoft made there last big announcements NO more support for Windows XP,
Windows 7, and now IE Internet Explorer web browser is being replaced with
Edge. So what were people going to do keep the old NON-Supported versions of
Microsoft Windows or make the jump into Windows 10 and live with all the
support they will need to keep working. A lot of people made the jump and some
did not.
Support for Windows XP ended
After 12 years, support for Windows XP ended April 8, 2014.
Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or technical support for the
Windows XP operating system. It is very important that customers and partners
migrate to a modern operating system such as Windows 10.
Microsoft will kill some Windows 7 and 8.1 support in April
